Theatre Teaching Artist/Applied Theatre Facilitator

$55/hour; independent contractor agreement

General requirements:

• BFA/BA in Theatre and/or Education, Masters Degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of artistic experience
• Minimum of 2 years of facilitating/teaching experience
• Knowledge of Theatre of the Oppressed, Co-Intentional Pedagogy, and Devising is highly preferred
• Curriculum/program and lesson planning experience
• Ability to work in non-traditional spaces and with participants of diverse backgrounds and with all age groups
• Being collaborative, flexible, independent, and reliable
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with our community partners
• Multilingualism is a plus
